  • Player eligibility for participation in the MTBSA spring programs require proof of residency in Manheim Township.
  • Player eligibility for participation in specific divisions will require proof of age (birth certificate).
  • Season start and end dates vary by division and will be communicated by coaches after teams are selected. However, please plan for the season duration to begin in mid-March and conclude: early-June (in-house leagues), early/late July (travel team leagues) including year-end tournament. Softball Leagues will start a bit earlier (mid-February) with indoor practices at local athletic facility (TBD).
  • In-house (non-travel) teams are intended to be developmental in nature, where focus will be on fundamental skills, team play, sportsmanship and rules of the sport.
  • Travel team participation offers a higher level of competition, where coaches will reinforce skills and learning from in-house participation, while adding additional focus on situational awareness, game strategies, and position play knowledge.  There is an expectation from coaches and team members that travel team participation requires a higher level of individual and family commitment to the success of the program.
  • 12u and 14u travel player evaluations will be held on Saturday 2/7/2026 (time TBD) at the Keystone State Academy Complex, 662 Ditz Drive, Manheim PA. Player attendance at this tryout is mandatory.
  • Both 10u travel and in-house player evaluations will be held on Sunday 02/01/2026 (time TBD) at the Manheim Township High School South GymPlayer attendance at this tryout is mandatory.
  • After evaluations, all 10U baseball players chosen for a travel team will be notified by email of reassignment. Upon acceptance, the difference in the league fees (between in-house and travel) of $90 will be charged and expected to be paid within days of acceptance to the travel team.
  • Practice and game schedules will be posted and communicated by coaching staff, once players are evaluated and team selections are made.
Uniforms will consist of an MTBSA supplied team jersey and cap. Players will be required to supply their own pants, matching belt and/or socks in colors directed by the team head coach.
Players and parents will be required to REVIEW and SIGN the "code of conduct" commitment, as well as upload the registrant's birth certificate for age verification.
In addition to the divisional registration fee, all players/families are responsible for a $50 fundraising fee, which will be added to registration charges.  Parents will be able to re-coup this investment by their child participating in the spring fundraiser (TBD).  For families with more than one child participating in spring baseball and/or softball programs, only (one) $50 fundraiser fee will apply.  However, you must register all children in the spring program at the same time in order to avoid multiple automatic $50 fundraiser fees being assessed to your invoice(s).
