Welcome to MTBSA Softball! It is our goal to facilitate a safe and constructive environment for our children to learn, play, and develop a lifelong enjoyment of the game. We encourage parents to become involved in the program, whether on a volunteer basis or as an encouraging game day fan.
Our in-house 7U teams are intended to be developmental in nature, where focus will be on fundamental skills, team play, sportsmanship, and rules of the sport.
Our 8U, 10U, 12U, and 14U travel teams offer a progressively higher level of competition against other Lancaster County teams. Coaches will reinforce skills and learning from in-house participation, while adding additional focus on situational awareness, game strategies, and position play knowledge. There is an expectation from coaches and team members that travel team participation requires a higher level of individual and family commitment to the success of the program.
Our season begins in mid-February and concludes mid-June for 7U in-house and mid- to late-July for travel team leagues, including year-end tournament.
Player eligibility for participation in the MTBSA spring programs require proof of residency in Manheim Township. Player eligibility for participation in specific divisions will require proof of age (birth certificate). Registration will only allow for players to register in the division they are eligible.
Travel Player winter workouts will be held on Saturday 2/7/2026 at the Keystone State Academy Complex, 662 Ditz Drive, Manheim PA. Player attendance is required.
